Help Needed:

Job title: Senior Accountant (New York, NY)

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

• Manage key accounting tasks, including (but not limited to): Importing weekly and periodic payroll entries; Preparing B&O sales tax and city tax filings; Managing non-restaurant sales Accounts Receivable; Preparing Employee Program reports; Posting recurring journal entries; Assisting with daily bank transaction postings; Creating weekly settlement runs;

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and general ledger;

• Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies;

• Perform adjusting entries for accurate period, cycle, or year-end closings;

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for other assigned entities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and oversight of accounts payable activities.

• Prepare and review information for audits, tax filings, and other reporting requirements.

Compensation: $73,070.00/year

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field. 24 months of experience as an Accountant or Financial Analyst.
